Job Purpose:

  • Credit controllers are a key function in the factoring process. The role purpose is to ensure the debt we have purchased, is payable by the end debtor. Credit controllers are the first point of contact for all debtor communication.

Responsibilities:

Transaction Processing:

  • Running RBS and allocation of collections.
  • Processing and posting cheques onto the system.

Account Management:

  • Managing the portfolio of our clients’ customers.
  • Verification of the purchased invoices.
  • Ensuring the customers are meeting the payment dates.
  • Working to impending, disapproved and aged debt reports.
  • Sending copy invoices and supporting documents.
  • Emailing customer/client statements.
  • Debt collection via emails/ telephone/ LBA.
  • Resolving any disputes.
  • Adding notes onto the customer ledger.
  • Risk analysis.

Other:

  • To undertake other duties within the scope of the job, as directed from time to time.
  • Cover team members within different departments.
  • Monthly client reviews.
  • Attend company training and meetings.
