If so then apply now as we are working with a fantastic SEN school in the Hemel Hempstead area who are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join them straight away for a long term period.

You do not need specific previous experience within a school setting as a Teaching Assistant but you will have had previous experience with children in some capacity and must have a general understanding of what is required of you as a Teaching Assistant.

The Role:

  • A Teaching Assistant working with children to support their learning and development
  • Preparing the classroom for lessons and tidying it up afterwards
  • Motivating and encouraging students to achieve their true potential
  • Support SEN children when required as a Teaching Assistant
  • Work in the class to support children with their development

Requirements:

  • Available to work 08:30 to 16:00, Monday to Friday
  • You ideally have at the minimum recent experience with children in some capacity
  • Either live in Hemel Hempstead or within a commutable distance
  • Either have Enhanced Child Only DBS or be willing to get one
  • Graduates are welcome to apply even if you have a lack of experience but you will need to some have form of experience with children that is reference able
