JOB - Mechanical Technician
LOCATION - Hemel Hempstead
TERM - Permanent
SALARY - 30,000 to 35,000 per annum (plus benefits)

Premier Engineering is working with a leading engineering company based in Hemel Hempstead who are looking to hire a Mechanical Technician to support their growing team.
The Mechanical Technician will ideally have the following attributes:
  • Previous experience in a mechanical technician or fitter role
  • Hands-on experience with mechanical assembly, maintenance, or repairs
  • Good understanding of mechanical systems, tools, and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
  • Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
  • A relevant engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, NVQ, HND, etc.) is desirable
  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach
The Mechanical Technician role will involve:
  • Assembling, installing, and maintaining mechanical systems and equipment
  • Working from technical drawings and specifications
  • Performing inspections and fault diagnosis on machinery
  • Carrying out repairs and modifications where needed
  • Supporting engineers and project teams with mechanical builds
