Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday, Flexibility Negotiable)

Thrive Homes is looking for a Head of Asset Management to lead the Asset team to deliver our programmes efficiently and maintain good quality, safe homes for our range of rent/sale customers to protect and enhance the value of our portfolio.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Head of Repairs, to ensure a holistic approach to maintenance, minimising expenditure, improving decision-making and outcomes for all stakeholders.
  • To deliver and enhance a customer-centric service, consistent with the sector’s changing ambition, seeking out opportunities to improve customer experience using technology, innovation and our colleagues.
  • To ensure Thrive’s data meets the requirements of current and future legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, support and deliver strategic portfolio realignment opportunities for under-performing assets.
  • Lead Thrive’s response to our commitment to achieve EPC-C and Net Zero carbon objectives
  • Work across the business to understand how it supports our ESG responsibilities, impacts our long-term business plan and growth strategies are delivered in the most effective way.
  • Support the development and implementation of an incoming asset management database and system as part of our wider systems upgrade.
  • In conjunction with our Business Risk and Assurance team provide assurance on the compliance of our homes to meet all legal and regulatory standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience of delivering Asset management and Green strategies including knowledge of appropriate data systems, tools and reporting.
  • Demonstrable experience in delivering a high performing team across business of strategic asset management, managing property portfolios with commercial awareness and delivering portfolio performance within business parameters
  • Demonstrate positive leadership qualities that inspire and motivate colleagues and partners to deliver a reliable and professional services.
  • Extensive contract management or commensurate and equivalent commercial experience
  • We are flexible in how you have achieved your skills and experience, through education or through worked experience. Holding of being willing to work towards a foundation degree or level 5 qualification regulated by Ofqual in Housing Management is important
  • Your ability to role model our core behaviours is as important as technical expertise.
  • Demonstrate positive leadership qualities that inspire and motivate colleagues and partners to deliver a reliable and professional services.
  • Experience of working in a regulated environment and able to understand the evidence and assurance requirements needed by the board.
  • Experience from a housing or property services background is beneficial.
