The school
The school is a primary age special school, which caters for children who experience communication and interaction difficulties. The students have moderate to mild learning difficulties. The students that attend the school have been diagnosed with ASD, along with other difficulties such as global development, global delay and anxiety.
The school offers a smaller group setting with plenty of space, with a specialised curriculum and teaching methods catered to their learning needs.
The person
- Preferably someone with primary mainstream and/or SEND experience
- be a calm presence in the classroom
- Some of the students may be non-verbal, so a good communicator
- Unfortunately only full-time applicants
- You must hold or be prepared to put a new DBS in process
