Job Summary:Hays is supporting a leading supply chain and distribution business in their search for a Payroll & Benefits Manager. This role involves managing the UK payroll function and the UK and Ireland Concur employee expense system, working closely with HR and DC operations teams, and liaising with systems providers like Moorepay, Crown, Zebra, and Concur.Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee payroll processing for weekly and four-weekly payrolls.
- Ensure HMRC compliance, including salary sacrifice and P11d submissions.
- Manage the Global Concur expense system.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support payroll-related projects.
- Maintain relationships with system providers.
- Meet reporting deadlines and support auditor requests.
- Review and develop the payroll team structure.
Requirements:
- Experienced payroll and benefits manager with knowledge of HMRC legislation.
- CIPP payroll qualification.
- Strong management, communication, and team skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Query (SQL) is desirable.
