Ecommerce Administrator

Salary: 28,000 - £32,000 Location: Mon-Thursday in Hemel Hempstead Option to work from home on Fridays

Job Summary:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Ecommerce Administrator to manage and optimise a dynmaic brand's ecommerce website and other web based marketplaces including Amazon. This role involves overseeing everything from system set up, to product listings, store optimisation and website functionality to ensure a seamless shopping experience for customers as well as supporting internal colleagues with their requests.The ideal candidate will have experience with ecommerce platforms, digital marketing, and data analytics to drive online sales and improve website performance.Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and update product listings, descriptions, pricing, and images on the ecommerce platform.
  • Oversee inventory levels and monitor product availability.
  • Maintain and optimise website functionality, including troubleshooting technical issues with the technical team.
  • Implement promotional campaigns, SEO strategies, and digital advertising.
  • Ensure a smooth user experience by conducting regular website audits and performance tests.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, logistics providers, and customer service teams to enhance efficiency.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging ecommerce technologies, and best practices.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an Ecommerce role, Digital Marketing Executive or similar experience.
  • Proficiency in ecommerce platforms and tools such as Shopify, Amazon, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, Meta Shop, Loopworks, Semrush, Lifetimely, Trello, Asana, Prowly, Klaviyo, Typeform, Helium10 or Hotjar.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing including SEO and Google Ads.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyse sales data and website performance to make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, SQL or other web technologies is a plus.
