Are you a experienced Commercial Gas engineer looking to come away from a mobile role, My client has 5 sites in London, the main 2 sites are in Kings cross and you home site would be Wembley.  Working in energy centres in London, you will be rotated to 5 different sites, you base would be Wembley and Kings cross.  they are contracted to service the boilers twice a year so this would be your role and dealing with the Commercial gas as a priority on break down and fault finding etc, When  you are less busy you will also be required to working on the mechanical side.   

My client seeking a Combustion Engineer to join our dynamic team. They operate and maintain 25 Heat Networks & Energy Centres across London, servicing all types of boilers, burners, and heating distribution systems.

As a Combustion Engineer, you’ll deliver maintenance to SFG20, repair works, and reactive services to a professional standard. You’ll be proactive, innovative, and comfortable with the culture. Your role will include mentoring ‘improvers’ and ‘apprentices’, using and understanding a CAFM system, delivering planned preventative maintenance to schedule, and providing technical support on site.

Our short-term objectives for this role include building strong relationships with our combustion engineers, supervisors, and customers, delivering services to contract, and helping the heating team achieve its goals. In the medium term, we aim for high performance levels, excellent customer ratings, and becoming a Trusted Advisor to our customers.

To excel in this role, you must be enthusiastic, organised, an excellent team player and communicator, and motivated to excel. You should have a minimum of six years’ experience in the field, a time-served apprenticeship, and hold Gas qualifications, a Gas Certification Scheme commercial card, and a Gas Safe Registration commercial card.

The annual salary is between £42,000 - £55,000 per annum, based on experience. Overtime is regularly available, enabling you to potentially earn between £10,000 and £20,000 in extra income per year.  contribute 4% of the Employee’s basic salary to a personal pension plan through Abbey Life.
