With a history of both acquisition and organic growth, this company is now in search of an experienced individual in volume payroll management. The business operates within business services, taking on payroll responsibility for numerous small, medium and large employers throughout the UK. Role and Key Responsibilities:As a vital part of their team, your role will encompass a diverse range of critical tasks, including:
  1. Payroll Processing: Efficiently and accurately managing the complete payroll process to ensure timely payments to our valued employees.
  2. Starters/Leavers/SPP/SMP: Assisting with all aspects related to payroll onboarding and departures, along with the processing of Statutory Paternity Pay (SPP) and Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP).
  3. Communication with External Stakeholders: Engaging in clear and effective communication with external parties to address any payroll-related inquiries or concerns.
  4. Query Resolution: Proactively resolve any payroll-related queries and issues to maintain a smooth and seamless payroll operation.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Strong Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication abilities to foster effective interactions with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  2. Payroll Exposure: Possess a well-established background in payroll management, gained from a bureau, practice, or umbrella company, showcasing your expertise in managing various payroll scenarios.
  3. Software Experience: Familiarity with payroll software such as IRIS, Star, or Sage will be considered a significant advantage, demonstrating your adaptability to different payroll systems.
