The business operates within business services, taking on payroll responsibility for numerous small, medium and large employers throughout the UK. Role and Key Responsibilities:As a vital part of their team, your role will encompass a diverse range of critical tasks, including:

Payroll Processing: Efficiently and accurately managing the complete payroll process to ensure timely payments to our valued employees.
Starters/Leavers/SPP/SMP: Assisting with all aspects related to payroll onboarding and departures, along with the processing of Statutory Paternity Pay (SPP) and Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP).
Communication with External Stakeholders: Engaging in clear and effective communication with external parties to address any payroll-related inquiries or concerns.
Query Resolution: Proactively resolve any payroll-related queries and issues to maintain a smooth and seamless payroll operation.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Strong Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent verbal and written communication abilities to foster effective interactions with colleagues and external stakeholders.
Payroll Exposure: Possess a well-established background in payroll management, gained from a bureau, practice, or umbrella company, showcasing your expertise in managing various payroll scenarios.
Software Experience: Familiarity with payroll software such as IRIS, Star, or Sage will be considered a significant advantage, demonstrating your adaptability to different payroll systems.
