Job Title: Payroll AdministratorLocation: Hemel HempsteadSalary: £35,000Benefits: Enhanced matched pension, 26 days holiday, 3 mental health days, private healthcare, free on-site parking, 2 office days per week.We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join a growing payroll team of 5 in Hemel Hempstead. In this role, you will be assisting with the running of payroll for approximately 4,000 employees on both weekly and monthly pay cycles.Key Responsibilities:
  • Administering end-to-end payroll for 4,000 employees across weekly and monthly pay schedules
  • Processing statutory deductions, including tax and National Insurance
  • Resolving payroll-related queries from employees
  • Maintaining accurate payroll data in compliance with current legislation
  • Collaborating with the HR team to ensure data integrity
  • Assisting with payroll reconciliations and reporting to HMRC
  • Supporting year-end processes such as P60 distribution
  • An understanding of BIK (Benefit-in-kind) for future changes
Requirements:
  • Experience in payroll administration with knowledge of full payroll processes
  • Familiarity with payroll legislation and tax regulations
  • Proficiency in payroll software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
