About the opportunity:
- Manage planning conditions, S106 obligations, and technical design changes.
- Prepare and submit planning applications, amendments, and non-material variations.
- Lead design tenders, review submissions, and appoint consultants.
- Maintain design program and coordinate working drawing packages.
- Ensure compliance with Building Regulations and environmental constraints.
- Approve supplier information, sales literature, and ensure standards compliance.
- Track fees, prepare cost reports, and secure necessary agreements.
- Support site processes, resolve queries, and assist the sales team.
- Attend meetings and site visits as needed.
About the benefits and rewards:
The salary will be dependent on the level of exposure to the residential industry. The company offers excellent opportunities and offers a basic salary in the region of up to 55k DOE. In addition to the basic salary there will be further company benefits.
About the requirements:
- Knowledge of the full development/technical process
- Experience as an Assistant or Technical Coordinator in development (preferred)
- Industry-related qualification and professional accreditation (RICS, CIOB, ICE, or RIBA)
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and work independently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience managing external consultant teams
- Engineering experience (preferably in architectural consultancy or development)
- Background in housebuilding, construction, or fire remediation projects
- Degree in architecture, planning, civil engineering, or related field
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to inclusion and diversity
- Proficient in IT skills
