Manufacturing Operative - Hengoed

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Manufacturing Operative to join our client in Hengoed. In this role, you will be responsible for manufacturing PEG-based products in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate safely, ensuring your own safety and that of others in the workplace.

  • Dispense raw materials and operate the computerised dispensing system accurately.

  • Collect and relocate materials from storage as needed.

  • Maintain accurate stock records, ensuring timely data entry into the JD Edwards system.

  • Operate a variety of manufacturing equipment and processes according to Job Card instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

  • Complete all documentation promptly and accurately to meet regulatory standards.

  • Calibrate equipment as per the set schedule and complete reports accordingly.

  • Maintain cleanliness of manufacturing areas and equipment to prevent cross-contamination.

  • Safely operate forklift trucks to transfer materials and products within the facility.

  • Adhere to all Health & Safety protocols and use provided safety aids.

  • Support the training of new team members.

  • Carry out additional tasks as required by the Team Leader or Manufacturing Manager.

Required Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of GMP principles.

  • Ability to operate, disassemble, and rebuild manufacturing machinery.

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety regulations.

  • Manual handling skills and awareness of best practices.

  • Forklift truck driving experience.

  • Understanding of chemical handling and associated safety precautions.
