Reed Further Education are working with a college who are seeking a passionate and dedicated Travel and Tourism Lecturer to join our team on a temporary basis for sickness cover. The successful candidate will deliver engaging and comprehensive lessons for Level 2 and Level 3 Travel and Tourism courses, including Air Cabin Crew training. Job Title: Travel and Tourism Lecturer
Position: Mon to Thurs – 20 hours
Role type: Temporary Ongoing.
Location: Ystrad Mynach
Salary: £26p/h to £35p/h including holiday pay
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning experiences for Level 2 and Level 3 Travel and Tourism courses.
- Provide specialized instruction in Air Cabin Crew training.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Level 3 qualification in Travel and Tourism or a related subject area.
- Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent).
- Enhanced DBS on the update service.
- EWC registration.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
