My client is a Strategic Land Promotor whose in-house Planning team are expanding, and due to a strong pipeline of work, they are looking to make the addition of an ambitious Planning Manager to their west-midlands team.

Duties of the role:

  • Work under the Planning Directors to progress ongoing sites.
  • Assess new planning opportunities and monitor local plans to identify new opportunities.
  • Work on both residential and employment outline planning applications.
  • Responsible for the submissions for local plan reps and any subsequent appeals.
  • Work on projects varying from small self-build housing sites to larger urban extensions.

Candidate Requirements:

  • a relevant planning degree (RTPI or RICS ideal) and eligibility to pursue chartership.
  • Previous experience working in a Planning role, ideally client-side.
  • Applicants will need to have a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle, or a reliable way of commuting to site visits.
