Description

The Assistant Accountant will cover some of the below

Accruals and prepayments
CIS returns
VAT returns and submissions
Journals and reconciliations
Support with Payroll processing
Assisting with daily Bookkeeping tasks
Month end support

Profile

A successful Assistant Accountant should have:

Working towards a qualification, either latter stages AAT or within CIMA/ACCA
Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures
Familiarity with accounting software
Strong Accounting skills with a focus on VAT and if possible CIS returns
Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Excellent organisational skills
Strong communication skills
