Finance Assistant - Up to £35k - Henley-on- Thames (6 month FTC)
A well-established M&E company based in Henley that provide construction services are currently looking for a Finance Assistant to join their team on a fixed term contract (FTC). Daily, you will collaborate with their skilled, and experienced finance, and engineering team.
This role would suit someone who has experience working in the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Support the sales/ purchase ledger function
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Set up projects, suppliers, customers, run relevant credit checks
- Raise invoices, prepare statements and chase payments
- Post CIS invoices and prepare payment runs
- Monthly reporting and reconciliations
- Assist with year-end reporting
Experience required:
- CIS and VAT experience (required)
- Financial experience in the construction sector (desirable)
- Experience using sage 200 and Sicon (desirable)
- Strong IT and Excel skills (desirable)
