ITS Industrial are looking for a full-time experienced Buyer & Sales Administrator to join our client’s sales team, working in a fast-paced environment located rurally in the HR2 area of Herefordshire.
This role will serve as a point of contact for suppliers and provide sales support for the Sales Team, following the process from raising and placing Purchase Orders through to Receipt of orders.
The qualities required in this role are reliable, hard-working, attention to detail, accuracy, good communicator.
Buyer & Sales Administrator
Basic Details:
Full-time, 40hrs per week
Office based Monday - Friday 8.30-17.00 (1/2hr lunch break unpaid 15mins paid in the morning and one in the afternoon)
Holidays: 20 days plus bank holidays.
Sick Pay: In accordance with the current Statutory Sick Pay Scheme
Pension: NEST Pension scheme
Pay: Subject to Experience
Main duties & Responsibilities:
- Help the Existing Sales team with All Business Administration activities
- Answer incoming customer/supplier phone calls and/ or emails
- Liaise with Customer and Suppliers to include internal workshop and office staff
- Processing of purchase orders in a timely manner
- Provide backup to the hire, sales and service team
- Data entry into Microsoft Office Excel/Word & outlook
- Monitoring product lead times to ensure delivery expectations are met
- Co-ordinate between Goods in and suppliers over delivery issues
- Process Supplier Returns
- Research, compare & evaluate suppliers & negotiate best prices
- Generate and maintain purchasing and costing reports
- Assist with general adhoc duties to aid the smooth running of the department and business.
- Co-ordinate the servicing / breakdowns / run hours of our Mobile & Static Welfare Division to ensure units are maintained to our hire fleet standard.
- Complete costing sheets for each project.
- Good IT skills to complete CRM Systems & Hire Software
Skills required for role:
- Purchase and Sales Admin/Support Experience
- Skilled in IT to include Microsoft Office (Work, Excel and outlook)
- Team player, with strong organizational skills
- Good communication skills both verbally and written
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Customer service experience
- Mechanical, Electrical, Construction Supply knowledge and advantage
- Able to multitask
- Ability to work to tight deadlines
- Must have a full UK driving licence.
