CNC Machine Operator

Location: Hereford, HR4 7PU
Salary: Competitive / Based on Knowledge & Experience
Contract: Full time, (45 hours per week) Permanent
Yard / Workshop Hours: Normally Monday - Friday, 6am to 3.30pm

Join our Production Team and play a crucial role in programming, setting up, and running our Hundegger CNC machines to produce the essential contingent parts to meet our high standards of quality

We are now seeking an experienced CNC Operator to operate and maintain our CNC machinery, ensuring precision and efficiency in the production of our bespoke timber components.

Your specific responsibilities as our CNC Operator includes:

Programme, set up, and operate CNC machines to produce timber components.
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files.
Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and precision.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC machinery.
Maintain accurate production records and report any issues or deviations.
Collaborate with the design and assembly teams to optimise production processes.
Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work area.

Qualifications and Skills required:

Proven experience as a CNC operator, preferably in the timber industry.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and CAD files.
Strong understanding of CNC programming and machine operations.
Experience with maintenance and troubleshooting of CNC equipment.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
