What You Will Do:
- Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance and Breakdown/Reactive Maintenance of Plant and Equipment.
- Ensure the Engineering maintenance is carried out in line with the current schedule and effective and efficient corrective action is taken.
- Provide quick and effective response to breakdowns, identifying root cause and suggesting possible improvements to prevent future occurrences.
- Communicate unscheduled breakdowns to Management and work with operations to minimise plant disruption.
- Follow good engineering standards and hygiene practice across the site, ensuring all activities are compliant with health and safety guidelines.
- Participate in Mechanical and Electrical projects and installations, ensuring efficient operations and environmental compliance.
What You Will Bring:
- Time served Multi-skilled Apprenticeship in a relevant engineering discipline.
- Proactive and dynamic approach to safety with good diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining a high attention to detail.
- Flexibility with a positive attitude and the ability to work well within a team.
- Experience in food manufacture, IEE 17th or 18th Edition, PLC, Pneumatic and Hydraulic experience are desirable.
