Good Work Partners is delighted to be working with a well-established Government backed charity who are looking to add support managers to their health and wellbeing programme. As a support manager you will be required to be a tenacious, highly organised, motivating and innovative individual, capable of working in a fast-paced target driven environment to be able to support individuals with multiple barriers to move into employment.

Main Duties

  • You will ensure achievement against service delivery KPIs, targets, and outcomes, including Job Entry, sustainability, customer service standards, and activity-led profiles.
  • You will need to progressively manage a caseload of referred customers conducting initial assessments to identify support needs, goals, and motivation. As support manager you will be responsible for the real time updating of the client database system.
  • Manage employer relationships to create accessible employment pathways, including engagement with Disability Confident and supporting employers to facilitate reasonable adjustments.
  • Take full responsibility for all tasks related to journey/case management function including maintaining effective and efficient administrative procedures, prioritising, and producing appropriate records and reports.
  • Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of the local labour market, training opportunities, and relevant support agencies particularly health and wellbeing service providers.
  • Supervise and guide volunteers to provide participants with additional support to access community provision, thereby creating a 'circle of support'.

Required Experience & Skills

  • 5 GCSEs (A-C) or equivalent qualifications
  • Strong track record of successfully working to targets and KPIs
  • Experience in successfully managing and progressing clients or customers meet agreed goals and ambitions
  • Experience of working with external stakeholders in providing exceptional customer progression routes, working with employers, local authorities, health services or voluntary sector organisations
  • An understanding of, and positive attitude towards mental and physical health; community and social inclusion; and a strength and assets-based approach to engaging participants
  • Good IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office software and previous experience of working with databases
  • Knowledge of the local labour market
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and ability to communicate concisely and effectively
  • Demonstrable experience of providing excellent customer service skills
  • Understanding of our client group and the barriers our clients may face
  • Understanding of data protection and information security
