Legal Support Assistant

We are seeking a proactive and highly organised PAt to join our reputable client from the legal industry. The successful candidate will be service-focused and play a crucial role in providing comprehensive business support to our Partners and fee earners.

Day to day of the role:
  • Manage the file opening process for the team, ensuring all procedures are followed accurately and efficiently.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for clients, delivering exceptional service and support.
  • Act as the first point of contact for administrative and business support requirements for fee earners, proactively anticipating the team’s needs.
  • Assist with the preparation of all financial transactions as required.
  • Draft and format letters, documents, and forms with precision and professionalism.
  • Prepare correspondence and documents through audio typing and word processing.
  • Proactively manage the diaries of allocated fee earners, ensuring effective time management and scheduling.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Experience within a secretarial/PA role, legal experience would be beneficial but isn't essential
  • Proficiency in administration
  • Experience of working in a client-facing environment.
  • Broad knowledge of administrative tasks in legal practices.
  • Sound knowledge of IT skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, Zoom, etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail in all aspects of your work.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
