We are currently recruiting for a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or Buyer to join a dynamic team in a leading construction company. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist senior Quantity Surveyors, Estimators, or Buyers in the day-to-day running of construction projects.
- Support the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and procurement strategies.
- Help with tracking project costs and managing financial records.
- Assist with tendering and procurement processes, including sourcing materials and subcontractors.
- Aid in managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts.
- Monitor project progress and report on budget and expenditure.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Participate in site visits and project meetings, assisting with cost reporting and evaluations.
Essential Requirements:
- Strong interest in starting a career in Quantity Surveying, Estimating, or Purchasing.
- Basic understanding of the construction industry (an advantage but not essential).
- A strong willingness to learn and develop skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
