re you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and young people? We are looking for a dedicatedTeam Leader/Senior Support Workerto join our team, providing high-quality care and support for young people in a residential setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of support workers to ensure the highest standard of care.
  • Build trusting relationships with young people, supporting their emotional, social, and personal development.
  • Implement care plans, risk assessments, and behavioural strategies.
  • Work closely with multi-agency teams, including social workers, healthcare professionals, and educators.
  • Assist young people in developing independent living skills, education, and career aspirations.
  • Respond to safeguarding concerns and ensure a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Manage shift planning, team supervision, and report writing.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children and young people in a residential or similar setting.
  • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards completion by September).
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, child protection, and trauma-informed care.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
