You'll feel supported by a network of passionate colleagues and managers.What you will do:- Respond to referrals promptly and with a focus on the welfare of the child. - Conduct comprehensive assessments and undertake investigations to address concerns regarding child safety and well-being. - Collaborate with families and partner agencies to determine the most appropriate and effective support for each child and family unit. - Maintain a complex caseload, employing your skills in assessment and report writing to deliver top-notch social care services. - Contribute to the ongoing improvement and safeguarding initiatives that underpin our priority to protect children and young people in Hereford.To be successful in this role, you should be fully qualified in social work (DipSW, CQSW, CSS, or equivalent) with a minimum of two years' experience in statutory social care.
