Job Description:

Are you a dedicated and experienced Children's Social Worker passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of children with disabilities? Join our dynamic team and contribute to providing exceptional care and support. We are currently seeking a motivated individual to fill the position of Children's Social Worker within our Children with Disabilities Team.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the unique needs and strengths of children with disabilities.

  2. Develop and implement individualized service plans in collaboration with the child, family, and multidisciplinary team.

  3. Advocate for the rights and needs of children with disabilities, ensuring equal access to educational and recreational opportunities.

  4. Provide counseling and emotional support to children and their families, addressing the challenges associated with disabilities.

  5. Collaborate with educators, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to ensure a holistic approach to each child's care.

  6. Connect families with relevant resources and services, including therapy, support groups, and assistive technologies.

  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and progress for each child.

  8. Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions as required.

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration.
  • Experience working with children with disabilities.
  • Strong understanding of disability legislation, policies, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Up to 30.57 per hour
  • 150 expenses
