This is a new role created with the objective of supporting a small, family run business to scale the business and continue driving their ongoing successes. This role will take on the end-to-end responsibility for the supply chain function including management procurement, sustainability, compliance, warehousing and their 3PL.

Responsibilities:
- Lead, develop, and engage the Warehouse, Logistics, and Purchasing teams to meet business objectives and maximise potential.
- Manage and report on operations, including OTIF and NCRs.
- Oversee supplier management and reporting, including negotiating and setting up supplier agreements and KPIs.
- Ensure operations and purchasing policies and processes meet business objectives and operational needs in terms of price, quality, and delivery targets.
- Conduct high-level sourcing for product development.
- Evaluate business challenges and take action to mitigate risks and develop opportunities.
- Forecast demand for services and products to meet business needs, maintaining optimal stock levels for efficiency.
- Utilise resources, including supplier development, to ensure effective supplier partnerships and product delivery.
- Manage relationships with suppliers, selecting and developing new suppliers.
- Negotiate and manage contract terms with suppliers to ensure value for money, quality standards, and delivery terms, with input from stakeholders and colleagues.
- Review and negotiate existing agreements to optimise commercial terms.
- Implement processes to measure supplier performance, quality, and compliance.
- Develop and control operational budgets to promote profitability and ensure resource availability within financial parameters.
- Apply professional and consistent supplier management across the supply base in line with purchasing policy.
- Direct warehousing and distribution functions to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to customers
