Your Role as an HLTA:
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Support teachers by delivering pre-planned lessons and activities
- Lead small groups and individual interventions to help students achieve their potential
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons, ensuring all students are supported
- Work with students who have special educational needs (SEN)and adapt learning plans accordingly
- Take responsibility for managing behaviour in the classroom and creating a positive learning environment
- Provide feedback to teachers on student progress and help with assessments
HLTA Teaching Assistant - Herne Bay
What We're Looking For:
- Level 5 CACHE qualificationor above, or extensive experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
- Proven experience in a school environment, ideally across primary and/or secondary settings
- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students
- A passion for education and helping young people succeed
- Experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable
