We have a new exciting opportunity for an AV/IT Support Technician to work within our team to provide office-based and onsite technical systems support to various sporting venues.

General;

  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach, a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Exhibit strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Smart casual dress for both onsite and office duties
  • Available and willing to work overtime including weekends

Operational Support (1stand 2ndline);

  • Utilise helpdesk ticketing systems effectively.
  • Identify and manage the resolution of faults and issues, including coordinating with third parties
  • Test and repair faulty equipment.
  • Quickly and efficiently identify patterns and solve problems.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, maintaining professionalism in correspondence with internal and external clients via email, phone, and face-to-face interactions.
  • Maintain technical confidence and composure under pressure.
  • Monitor systems and generate client reports, contributing to KPI metrics.

Event support;

  • Provide on-site software and technical support for major sporting and similar events
  • Assist with monitoring and maintaining client systems, including AV, IT, and software.
  • Manage the configuration of a wide range of technology, often cutting-edge and with complex compatibility.
  • This role offers significant potential for personal and career growth, ideal for an ambitious individual eager to learn new technologies and systems.
  • Perform any additional duties that fall within the reasonable scope of the role's responsibilities, requirements, and expectations.
  • Available to work remotely on clients' site and at the companies Hertford HQ

Qualifications;

  • GCSE in Mathematics and English (or English Literature)
  • Junipter Networks Certified Internet Associate or equivalent qualified
  • Strong technical proficiency
  • Driving license (clean, no endorsements)
