We are recruiting for a Business Development Coordinator for a well established and expanding Hertford service based organisation.

This is full-time office based role, the working hours are Monday to Friday : 8.00am to 5.00pm.

This is new position within the team and is principally aimed at building and maintaining the customer base - developing new relationships and keeping the customer database updated.

Day to day Responsibilities:

  • Going through a list of lapsed customer contacts - re connecting and building new relationships, whilst updating the database with new information.
  • Cross collaborating within the business to deliver high levels of customer service
  • Assist at identifying and researching potential new clients, including industry partners.
  • Reach out to new and lapsed clients by way of cold calling and emails.
  • Qualify any leads and ensure timely follow up calls and emails.
  • Coordinate meetings and presentations for prospective clients.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, presentations and sales materials
  • Help manage and track client relationships, ensuring consistent communication
  • Maintain and update client and prospects on a CRM system.
  • Plus, other ad hoc duties when required.

Person Specification:

  • Experienced and passionate customer service professional.
  • Confident at making cold calls
  • Understanding of business development strategies and proven track record and driving growth.
  • Be an energetic, detail-oriented individual with excellent communications skills.
  • Respectful team player
  • Happy with the company of dogs in the office.
