Job Purpose
  • Managing a diverse portfolio, consisting mainly of trust and estate and personal tax clients
  • Preparation and delivery of tax advice
  • Supporting business development strategies, attending prospective meetings and quoting for services
  • Monitoring team performance and profitability
  • Supporting Partners and Directors by undertaking ad-hoc work where required
  • Reviewing tax work, maintaining high standards at every step
  • Overseeing junior team members, including workflow management, quality control, and providing training
  • Building trusted client relationships, proactively handling queries and problem solving
  • Keeping up-to-date with tax knowledge, championing knowledge sharing across the team

The Successful Applicant
  • ATT / CTA qualified with recent experience in UK practice
  • Qualified by experience would also be considered
  • A minimum of two years’ management experience
  • Technically efficient across taxation
  • Good project management and analytical skills
  • Self-motivated, reliable and eager to progress
  • A drive to deliver technical knowledge as a point of call for the team
  • Confident in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
  • Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
  • Commercial business acumen
