My client is seeking a proactive Reception Administrator to join their friendly and growing team in a diverse business. Based in a high-spec office in Hertfordshire, this role is ideal for someone with previous administration experience who is confident in managing phone calls and has a self-starter attitude. This position offers excellent opportunities for career development and growth.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Check deliveries and sign off delivery notes, ensuring all orders are complete and maintaining a digital record of these notes.
  • Arrange and manage deliveries.
  • Maintain various databases and ensure accurate digitalisation of records.
  • Handle filing, scanning and preparation of outgoing post, including trips to the post office.
  • Answer telephone calls, take messages and manage email enquiries.
  • Cover the reception area, greet customers and ensure all visitors are signed in and out appropriately.
  • Maintain office supplies, including stationery and ensure the kitchen area and facilities are tidy and stocked.
  • Manage uniform and first aid stock as well as perform other health and safety tasks.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the office and equipment.
  • Undertake ad hoc administrative tasks and projects as required.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Confident, approachable, with a can-do attitude.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to take initiative and work independently.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel and Outlook.

Additional Information:
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
  • Due to office location, candidates must be car drivers as there is no public transport nearby.
