About Us: This client is a leading manufacturer based in Hertfordshire, dedicated to delivering engineered products and services to a global market. Working as part of an established and committed team, this is a newly created permanent vacancy, working full-time hours (100%) office-based Monday to Friday. Looking to offer an annual salary up to £30,000 plus 25 days plus a range of excellent employee benefits. His client is passionate about innovation and excellence; therefore, the Sales Administrator must demonstrate previous, relevant employment experience gained in a similar field.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and process customer orders efficiently using SAP.
  • Coordinate with the sales/production and materials teams to ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment.
  • Maintain and update customer records in the SAP system, producing correspondence on MS Office (Word, Outlook).
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide exceptional service via telephone, via email.
  • Assist in preparing sales reports and analysing sales data, sharing with senior management.
  • Support the technical sales team with administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:

  • Ideally seeking a good level of education in English and Maths
  • Proven experience as a Sales Administrator or in a similar role within the manufacturing sector.
  • Proficiency in SAP and strong knowledge of managing customer orders.
  • Confident in the use of MS Office (Excel, Word and Outlook)
  • Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
