My client is looking for Legal Assistant or Paralegal with a minimum of 6 months experience in commercial property to join their established and well known office in Hertford, Hertfordshire.

You will be needed to assist Fee Earner’s in the performance of his/her role in the Department. The successful candidate will be experienced in all aspects of conveyancing matters. You should have strong communication skills and have good organisational and time management skills.

The successful candidate will be joining an outstanding team within an award winning firm, who provide support to all team members. The firm offer flexible working, a competitive salary along with clear progression opportunities.

The role:

  • Direct communication with clients with updates and to provide and obtain information
  • Dealing with file openings including terms of business, AML checks and ensuring all information is inputted into a case management system (Liberate)
  • Obtaining documents from the Land Registry
  • Obtaining documents from Companies House
  • Submitting searches
  • Obtaining documents from solicitors and collating these

Requirements:

  • 6+ months experience working withing commercial property
  • You’re dedicated to providing excellent client service
  • You’re a team player who will always go the extra mile.
  • A genuine interest in Residential Property work
  • Organised, methodical with a good eye for detail
  • Excellent IT, communication and numeracy skills
