- Developing/supporting approaches that achieve shared organisational objectives
- Working with the central teams to design and implement key initiatives relating to areas such as talent, performance management, diversity and inclusion, wellbeing.
- Implementing the people plan.
- Coaching Managers and individuals.
- Maintaining positive relationships with the central HR functions.
- Supporting the service team to manage employee relations issues when required.
- Taking an active role in future talent processes such as graduate recruitment.
- Undertaking and leading HR project work as identified
- Working closely with the L&D team to provide support in the co-ordination of training & development for managers and their teams in line with performance management tools.
- Working with the L&D team to ensure key deliverables are met, monitored and reported.
- Meeting regularly with the Head of People to ensure the consistency and alignment of all HR processes and strategies (globally and locally).
- Maintaining a positive and solution-oriented approach to work, providing open and honest feedback.
- Previous experience in the role, or as a Senior HR Advisor.
- Experience in the engineering, manufacturing or construction industry would be beneficial
- The ability to build and maintain core business relationships with key stakeholders
- Extensive senior Advisory/Partnering experience within a professional Human Resources function
- High level of educational achievement
- Extensive experience of developing and implementing policies and procedures
- Knowledge of employment law principles Excellent Microsoft skills; to include minimum intermediate level excel and word Fully CIPD qualified, preferably Chartered
