Our client is an award-winning independent mortgage and protection firm based in Hessle. They are looking for an experienced advisor to provide exceptional, holistic customer service to their existing and growing client bank. They are looking for a driven, motivated and caring team player to expand on the already top level service they provide in the residential, buy to let and personal insurance industry. The ideal candidate must have at least 3 years experience advising in the independent mortgage sector and be competent advising on both personal protection and buy to let mortgages.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate a high level of organisation, the drive to provide elite customer service and slot into the team. Our client is looking for a highly motivated, team first adviser who can drive customer service and the ability to help grow the business.

Duties:

  • Calling prospective clients to answer their questions
  • Booking in prospective clients
  • Diary management
  • Client appointments
  • Advising clients on their mortgage and protection needs
  • Mortgage and protection research
  • Make client recommendations
  • Following up clients
  • Effectively handing cases over to the admin team
  • Liaising with admin team working towards case completion
  • Providing exceptional service to clients
  • Attending networking events

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in financial services or a related field is desirable.
  • Strong basic maths skills to accurately assess financial data.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to clients.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients and understand their individual needs.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail for managing multiple cases simultaneously.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in mortgage advising or finance are an advantage.
  • Full CeMAP qualification
  • 3 years minimum advising experience in the independent sector
  • Experience selling protection
  • Be competent with BTL both personal and LTD company
  • Be a team player who can work closely with the admin team
  • A High work ethic to holistically advise each client and find new clients
  • Disciplined
  • Highly self Motivated
