As a Quantity Surveyor, you will:
- Oversee build and infrastructure costs, cash flows, and budget tracking at site and plot level.
- Collaborate with Housing Associations, third-party providers, and subcontractors to manage contracts and ensure compliance.
- Lead the procurement of subcontract trades, securing the best value.
- Analyse and report on development costs and advise on cost-saving opportunities.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, ensuring adherence to company policies.
- Maintain strong communication with operational teams and stakeholders to meet regional business objectives.
- A relevant qualification or substantial experience in Quantity Surveying.
- Proficient in COINS and MS Excel.
- Strong commercial and technical construction knowledge.
- Understanding of codes of practice, including Building Regulations, NHBC, HSE, and CDM Regulations.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel to sites as required.
