Key Responsibilities

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will:

  • Oversee build and infrastructure costs, cash flows, and budget tracking at site and plot level.
  • Collaborate with Housing Associations, third-party providers, and subcontractors to manage contracts and ensure compliance.
  • Lead the procurement of subcontract trades, securing the best value.
  • Analyse and report on development costs and advise on cost-saving opportunities.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, ensuring adherence to company policies.
  • Maintain strong communication with operational teams and stakeholders to meet regional business objectives.
What Were Looking For:
  • A relevant qualification or substantial experience in Quantity Surveying.
  • Proficient in COINS and MS Excel.
  • Strong commercial and technical construction knowledge.
  • Understanding of codes of practice, including Building Regulations, NHBC, HSE, and CDM Regulations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Flexibility to travel to sites as required.
