Urgent Charity Interim Financial Accountant - Circa £350 per day!
Robertson Bell is partnering with a leading charity to recruit an Interim Financial Accountant for an initial 2-3 month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced accountant with strong year-end expertise to make an immediate impact within a well-established finance team.
Reporting to senior finance leadership, the Interim Financial Accountant will:
- Ownership of completing reconciliation work.
- Play a key role in year-end preparations and financial reporting.
- Assist with balance sheet reconciliations, resolving outstanding issues and investigating discrepancies.
- Work closely with the Finance team, including an existing Financial Accountant and Transactional Manager, to ensure smooth month-end processes.
- Ideally bring experience with Access Dimensions, though this is not essential.
The ideal candidate will be:
- A qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
- Highly experienced in charity finance, with a solid understanding of year-end processes.
- Hands-on in their approach, able to dive into reconciliations and problem-solving.
- Comfortable working in a large and busy finance team.
- Available to start immediately or at short notice.
