The hotel prides itself on delivering exceptional, bespoke dining experiences for guests, using locally sourced ingredients and seasonal produce to create memorable culinary delights.

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Chef de Partie to join our client's dynamic kitchen team and to play a key role in crafting exquisite dishes that reflect the unique character of their venue.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in preparing and delivering high-quality dishes for weddings, private events, and other functions.
  • Manage your own section of the kitchen, ensuring food is prepared to the highest standard and on time.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to create and refine seasonal menus that highlight fresh, local ingredients.
  • Maintain high levels of hygiene and safety standards in accordance with regulations.
  • Take responsibility for food stock, ordering, and waste control within your section.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff to ensure consistent quality and efficiency.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar role in a high-volume kitchen, preferably in a fine dining or events setting.
  • A passion for food and a creative approach to menu design.
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, with experience in using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks during busy periods.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required for events.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery (or equivalent qualification).
