Commercial Finance Manager (Fintech Products) | up to £109,000 + Bonus | Hybrid | North London

IN2 Consult are supporting a leading Fintech business based in London who are looking to onboard a commercially focused Finance Manager to lead a team, analyse key variables aligned with the integration process of New Fintech Products alongside ensuring complex testing is completed to support the successful development and post Product implementation phase.

This role has a commercial focus on stakeholder engagement, cross department senior business partnering and full analysis of data flows. Ultimately, a Senior member of the function acting as a conduit between the Product Control, Finance and Technology departments in ensuring the development, implementation and testing of the new products is accurately reported on, compliant and sustainable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of junior Finance professionals
  • Assist with the design, development, implementation, testing and analysis of new products
  • Identify and analyse the potential impacts of new initiatives and products on Finance
  • Act as a key member of the stress testing process, ensuring complex data flow accuracy and appropriate accounting entries are reported and analysed
  • Collaborate with the wider Finance function in delivering the Finance plan, inclusive of new product discovery and implementation
  • Identify existing risks, problems and issues whilst ensuring these are communicated to the correct department to avoid potential obstacles of future product implementations
  • End to end consideration and testing of new products whilst maintaining a clear audit trail to support audit sign off
  • Build key relationships with the Production, Engineering and Finance teams and act as a vital business partner between each department

Essential:

  • ACA, ACCA, CPA, CA or SA qualified
  • Fintech, Financial Services or Banking industry experience
  • Current experience in people management
  • Proven commercial acumen
  • Confidence in dealing with large volumes of data
  • Thrive in a fast paced environment

Desirable:

  • Big 4 audit background
  • Previous or current experience in a commercially focused position
  • Proven expertise in Product Control
