Sonic Summary

The position is for a Bookkeeper at Heywood with a salary of £33,000 depending on experience.
The role requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping and an AAT Level 3 or 4 qualification.
Responsibilities include preparing month and year-end accounts, VAT returns, bank reconciliations, and payroll using Sage.
The working hours are Monday to Thursday from 9am to 5pm and Friday from 9am to 4pm.
Candidates should possess strong communication skills, be well-organized, and have proficient IT skills including Excel and Sageline 50.

Bookkeeper | Heywood | Salary: 33k DOE

Our client is a well established and successful family run business who are a national organisation! They are actively recruiting for a Bookkeeper on a full time basis.

Responsibilities for a Part time Bookkeeper (but not limited to):

Preparing month and year end accounts
Preparation of quarterly VAT returns and submissions
Bank reconciliations
Purchase ledger and Sales Ledger
Payroll - both weekly and monthly using Sage for small team

Bookkeeper Requirements:

Minimum 2 years experience within Bookkeeping
AAT Level 3 or 4 qualification
Knowledge of general accounting procedures
Flexible and adaptable
Self-motivated
Team player, along with strong communication skills
Well organised, with the ability to multi-task, prioritise and manage competing demands
Proficient IT skills including Excel and knowledge of Sageline 50 is essential
