Facilities Coordinator Opportunity

Location:Heywood, On-site with the Estate Manager

I'm delighted to be recruiting for our client who areone of the UK’s leading providers of industrial and logistics warehousing, providing space for success for over 2,000 customers, ranging from SMEs to multinationals, and serving light industrial, mid and big box as well as urban logistics requirements across the entire UK. I amlooking for a Facilities Coordinator to support the Estate Manager in managing day-to-day operations. This hands-on role involves administration, health & safety, reporting, and financial tasks, ensuring compliance, exceptional service, and efficient site management.

Key Responsibilities

Administration: Maintain records, manage communications, and update systems.

Health & Safety: Coordinate work permissions, assist with inspections, and ensure compliance.

Reporting: Analyse contractor performance, support CAPEX proposals, and assist with financial reporting.

Customer Service: Deliver excellent service to tenants, contractors, and site users.

Other: Act as deputy fire warden and assist with on-site events and marketing.

Requirements

Essential

  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and IT skills.
  • Proactive, organised, and customer-focused.

Desirable:

  • IOSH certification or FM experience.
  • Ambition for progression.
