Our new, clean, bright 63,000 sq. Ft site in Heywood, Lancashire is the largest containment factory in the northwest, just minutes from the m66 and m62. We have invested £1m in our facility, with state-of-the-art machinery and great staff facilities including showers, canteen, and plenty of on-site parking.
Envair Technology has been manufacturing world class clean air and containment equipment for the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries since 1972. Our mission is to engineer controlled environments that keep people and products safe from airborne hazards.
Our products, including fume cupboards, isolators, laminar airflow cabinets and microbiological safety cabinets, are used to prepare chemotherapy treatments for cancer patients, discover new therapies for Alzheimers or test samples in hospitals. We are currently looking for a Site Fitter mate to join us working within a growing team.Reporting to the Site Supervisor you will support with the installation of fume cupboards and ductwork/extract systems, in new build/refurbishment environments. Youll be working on either construction sites or within clients existing laboratories. As part of this skilled team, you will have the opportunity to drive the success of an integral business function, which in turn, will make a positive impact on our organisation.

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Carrying out the installation of the companies in house manufactured fume cupboards and associated ductwork/fume extractions systems.
- General assembly duties alongside our production team.
- Travel across to customer sites within the UK as required to install company products.
Minimum Requirements Education and Experience
- CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) Desirable
- Full driving license
- Previous experience working on Construction sites
- Excellent experience/knowledge of using hand and power tools
- Willing to travel to sites across the UK -often working away from home from Monday-Friday, with occasion weekend work.
- Strong attention to detail
- Confident and able to work on own initiative
- Good team working and interpersonal skills
- Excellent standards of workmanship with adherence to Health and Safety
- A keenness to learn and develop with a positive approach to work
- Excellent timekeeping and attendance
