Job Advert: Primary School Teacher (Alternative Provision) Location: Chapel-en-le-Firth Hours: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday Salary: £140 - £200 per day, based on experience Prospero Teaching Agency is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join an Alternative Provision (AP) school in Chapel-en-le-Firth. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of primary-aged students who may require additional support and guidance. If you have a passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering student development, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students in an AP setting. Monitor and assess pupils development against individual targets. Manage and professionally report on classroom behaviours or incidents. Adapt teaching methods to maximise each pupil's learning potential. Mark and assess classwork and homework assignments. Maintain professional communication with staff members and parents.

Requirements:Experience teaching upper or lower Key Stage 1 pupils. Strong communication skills with staff and parents. Ability to liaise with the safeguarding team in a professional manner. A genuine passion for motivating and developing pupils learning in an alternative provision environment. Full-time availability during term time. Competency in marking pupil's work and setting relevant targets. Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Eligibility Criteria: To be considered for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must: Hold the Right to Work in the UK. Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to apply for a new one. Provide two professional child-related references that cover the last two years.
