Our top 20 Practice client is expanding their team at the Peterborough office and are in search of a skilled Accounts Senior to join their dynamic Accounts Team. The ideal candidate will hold ACA/ACCA qualifications, possess robust technical skills, and demonstrate proficiency in financial statement preparation.

As an Accounts Senior, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and reviewing financial statements for a diverse client portfolio, spanning from sole-traders and partnerships to large corporate entities. Collaborating within the team, you will deliver personalised and proactive services, upholding the highest standards of client satisfaction.

Your Responsibilities:

- Manage a diverse clientele, including high-profile landed estates and corporate entities with turnovers up to £500m- Lead the preparation of financial statements for complex trusts, corporate groups, and medium to large companies- Mentor and guide trainees in preparing accounts for simpler entities, offering support and conducting reviews of their work- Contribute to VAT return preparation and provide bookkeeping assistance to clients, aiding in transaction entry and management reporting implementation- Collaborate with Partners and Managers on advisory projects such as financial forecasting, business plans, and restructuring initiatives- Gain exposure to capital tax advice and succession planning projects- Cultivate strong client relationships, serving as a primary point of contact- Stay abreast of industry developments through participation in events and conferences- Actively engage with clients and industry professionals to enhance your reputation in the market- Provide supervision, coaching, and development opportunities for the accounts team
