Job Title: Audit Semi Senior

About the Role:
Sheridan Maine is recruiting for an Audit Semi Senior to join a well-established and highly regarded practice in High Wycombe. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to progress their career in audit within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support statutory audits and independent examinations from start to finish.
- Work on specialist audits, including solicitorsā accounts rules audits and charity audits.
- Prepare standalone and consolidated statutory accounts in accordance with FRS102 and Charity SORP.
- Prepare non-audited accounts for clients.
- Report directly to the Audit Manager and Partner, ensuring timely completion of assignments.
Requirements:
- ACA or ACCA qualified or currently studying towards qualification.
- Experience working in audit within an accountancy practice.
- Strong working knowledge of CCH Audit Automation, CCH Accounts, Xero, SAGE 50, SAGE Business Cloud, and Microsoft Office (preferred).
- Excellent communication, organisation, and administration skills.
- A team player with a flexible approach and strong attention to detail.
