A fantastic role has arisen for a Finance Systems Accountant (D365) to join a large multinational company based in High Wycombe. This role offers fantastic progression and excellent hybrid working options.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver the day-to-day operation and maintenance of finance systems in line with Finance Support Service Design
  • Supporting the processing and control of month end activities.
  • Functional expert with relevant experience in the following Modules (Finance, Projects, P2P S2C, Fixed Assets/Leases)
  • Assist in defining the new processes and evolve finance ways of working whilst keeping up to date on industry best practices.
  • Partner with the BI analytics team and lead on the maintenance of master data and rollout of the agreed Data Governance requirements across the systems user base.
  • Troubleshoot system Functional issues, identify root causes, and implement and advise on solutions in a timely manner in line with the service catalogue and SLAs.
  • Conduct user testing and quality assurance activities as part of upgrades and deployment of new functionality.
  • Collaborate with both IT and Configuration teams to help resolve technical issues and optimise system performance and functionality.
  • Support the implementation of new systems within Finance or upgrades to existing systems.
  • Maintain documentation of system configurations, customisations, processes, and training materials for future reference and knowledge sharing.
  • Keep up to date with future Microsoft releases to identify new features to aid with continuous improvement and carryout solution validation activities for any new Patches/upgrades.
  • Function as a lead resource on financial systems reporting support, including creating, maintaining, and enhancing in System D365 reports as wells supporting on any reconciliation/validation of published PowerBI workbooks.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (formerly known as Dynamics AX, with some experience across ALL Finance modules (including Fixed Assets, Projects & Leases)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate) for extending and integrating with D365 F&O
  • Familiarity with related technologies such as SQL Server, Azure, and Microsoft Office 365 is also desirable
  • Possess a strong aptitude for accounting principles, finance processes, data management and with relevant exposure to data migration, system integration, financial or performance reporting and testing
  • Knowledge of large company ERP systems coupled with change management / continuous improvement with an ability to apply criterial thinking to troubleshoot technical issues and recommend solutions.
