My client, a reputable Housing Association, is looking for an Interim Financial Controller to join them on a 4-6 month contract. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the business as usual financial accounting activity.
- Managing the month-end close process, ensuring all deadlines are met.
- Overseeing balance sheet reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
- Managing interim audit processes and planning for upcoming audits.
- Ensuring the finance systems are well-maintained and functional.
- Taking ownership of capital accounting and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

To be considered, please meet the following criteria:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Experience in financial accounting, month-end close, and audit processes.
- Housing sector experience is preferred, but candidates with strong transferable skills and experience in complex financial environments are encouraged to apply.
