Part-Qualified Accountant / QBE with Audit Experience – High Wycombe

Are you a part-qualified ACCA/ICAEW or QBE accountant with audit experience? We have an exciting opportunity in High Wycombe for a motivated individual to join a dynamic and professional business.

About the Role:

You will be involved in a variety of tasks, including:

  • Working on numerous audits, growing the client base, and maintaining existing client relationships.
  • Supporting Managers and Directors in delivering professional accountancy services.
  • Ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time to deliver audits in a timely and cost-effective manner.
  • Supervising junior staff and preparing audit planning documentation for review.
  • Supporting Managers and Directors with a varied general portfolio, including financial reporting, corporate and personal taxation, and tax planning.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver audit files in accordance with UK GAAP.
  • Manage client communication effectively.
  • Proactively monitor assignment budgets.
  • Prepare Limited company accounts for review by Managers/Directors.
  • Prepare Corporation Tax computations for review.
  • Prepare partnership and sole trade accounts.
  • Prepare personal and partnership tax returns.
  • Prepare and review VAT returns.
  • Manage accounts preparation.
  • Highlight deficiencies in client records or areas of concern to Managers/Directors and recommend improvements.
About You:
  • Part-qualified ACCA/ICAEW or QBE with previous audit experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in practice.
  • Self-driven and results-oriented with a positive outlook.
  • Keen to learn, develop, and support trainees with their training and development.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong IT skills, ideally with Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and CCH, as well as proficiency in Word and Excel.
