We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established company that specializes in high-quality, bespoke cabinetry. They are known for their exceptional craftsmanship and are looking to add skilled cabinet makers to their growing team. This is a great opportunity to work with a company that values attention to detail and quality in all their products.

Hours:

  • Monday to Thursday, from 7.00 am to 16.00 pm
  • Friday, from 7.00 am to 12.00 pm
  • (½ hour lunch + 10-minute morning tea break)
  • Overtime available from Monday to Saturday, which is paid at an enhanced rate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manufacturing high-quality cabinets according to specifications
  • Working with a range of materials, including wood, veneers, and laminates
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Operating woodworking machinery and hand tools
  • Assembling, sanding, and finishing cabinets
  • Ensuring a high standard of quality control in all products
  • Using hand tools to cut, shape, and join panels to assemble panels to cabinets,
  • Repairing, and also installing hardware onto cabinets.

Key Requirements:

  • Tools include lamellose, hand routers, drills, hand saws, etc.
  • Proven experience as a cabinet maker or in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of woodworking techniques and materials
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings and plans
  • Attention to detail and precision
  • Team player with good communication skills
